Caring for your shawl

One of the wonderful things about wool is that it needs very little looking after. Unlike many synthetic fibres, wool naturally resists odours and dirt, so frequent washing simply isn't necessary. Often, a little fresh air is all it needs. When it is time for a wash, we recommend gentle hand washing in cool water with a wool detergent, followed by drying flat away from direct heat. Treat it with a little care and your shawl will reward you with years of warmth and comfort.
